Tóm tắt tính năng:

+ Làm CD hoặc DA 24-bit Super Bit Mapping cho chất âm trung thực, hơn hẳn các DAC và CD < 15T, thậm chí các CD hi-end 16-bit.

+ Đầu ghi dùng cho phòng thu chuyên nghiệp, cho phép tuỳ chỉnh cả dải tần (Hz) và độ lớn (dB) của Bass, Mid, Treble. Nếu để chế độ mặc định thì hoàn toàn không can thiệp vào chất âm của bản nhạc gốc.

+ Và đặc biệt, bác nào thích kiểu âm thanh sân khấu với độ động cao thì em nó đáp ứng tốt (dùng em nó làm EQ).

+ Với dây tín hiệu tốt, rất khó để phân biệt sự khác nhau về chất lượng âm thanh giữa đĩa gốc và đĩa ghi  phôi Phono trên Sony W33!

 The Sony CDR-W33 is a compact disc recorder developed with the achievement of outstanding quality as a central design objective.

Through the use of Super Bit Mapping recording technology and 24-bit A to D and D to A conversion, the CDR-W33 meets this target and is able to achieve high sound quality approaching that of 20-bit recording quality.

• Super Bit Mapping (SBM) Techonology has been a feature of Sony DAT recorders for many years, and is also adopted in the CDR-W33 to provide high sound quality equivalent to a 20-bit digital recording from an analog input source.
• Alternative digital inputs - both coaxial and optical inputs are provided
• Digital Limiter - available for use when the input signal is from an analog source. The algorithm of the digital limiter increases the average signal level and smoothly limits signal peaks.
• Digital Equalizer - available for use when the input signal is from an analog source. A 3-band (Bass/Mid/Treble) parametric equalizer provides up to 6 dB of correction (in 1 dB steps).
• 24-bit A/D and D/A conversion maximising the advantages of the SBM process.
• Rec Level Adjustment is available on both digital and analog inputs.
• PC Keyboard Control Function. An optional PS/2 keyboard can be connected to enter CD Text and provide remote control of Play, Pause, Stop, FF, Rew and AMS /AMS- functions, and so on.
• CD Text Entry. A CD Text function allows disc and track titles to be entered using a standard PC keyboard, supplied remote control unit or buttons and rotary encoder of the front panel. This text can be read on any CD Text capable player.
